Description
I bought a bunch of flowers at the market last week, and experimented quite a bit with different sorts of shots. This is about as macro as I can get with my Z-3 on "automatic" and "super macro." Shot hand held, indoors, natural light. Ummm ... and some postwork. :)

Lovely. That yellow is gorgeous.
Very good super macro depicting the core of the lily, Tara. Almost looks like banana skins. Also, it kind of looks like one could take a slippery slide, using the various slopes/chutes shown, down into the belly of the flower.
Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow! The shimmer you have caught is great even at 150% blow up! Beautiful stuff!
this might need an advisory.... whew! it's sensuous.

Excellent composition
Beautiful image. Macros can make the most common objects strange and exotic. Texture and color are wonderful.

I love the closeup view and the sunny glow. Sheer perfection!
Lovely image, it has such a luminous quality. Thanks for the welcome and wonderful comments on my iris.
An amazing shot. And oops- I just realised I have unknowingly stolen a title from you.. Anyway, this shot reminds me of the works of a painter, Georgia O'Keefe.
