Description
Venice is criss-crossed with many canals. The main thoroughfare is the Grand Canal that carries all sort of boat traffic. Then there are canals that are used primarily by gondolas, and then there are canals such as this one that seem to have been forgotten.
This picture was taken in July 1995 and later scanned.

I have always dreamed of seeing Venice.the textures and pov is outstanding
i went to school in venice in the early 70's... this is the venice i remember... intimate, mysterious and always interesting. PHENOMENAL IMAGE!!!

Very beautiful shot! I was there in 1966 and I'm still alive...
Seems like sort of a "back alley" only one unique to Venice. A real view of normal life without the tourist affect. Nice.

m still trying to work out exposures with digital and yet your pics i assume were with 35mm and are perfect :o)..at least it doesnt cost me when i make mistakes .excellent sig mickA dream of a place to visit.
