"Follow effective action with quiet reflection. From the quiet reflection will come even more effective action." ~ Peter F Drucker
My son Connor at the conclusion of his most recent Taekwondo belt test (he is now blue belt, one stripe). He had just finished the sparring portion of the test and was worn out. The students were lined up and meditation before the belt and certificate award ceremony. The light coming in the window highlighted his face and made for a photogenic moment. I converted the image to a toned monochrome and enhanced the selective focus to give the scene more impact. -----

Wonderful image! You have a handsome son. ;o)
Congrats to your son achievements. Aloha
I love this. Not just the fabulous photography, but because you share your Connor and his wonderful accomplishment. I am proud with you. And the 'moment' is so special and Dad was able to capture it. How happy you must be. My heart is smiling. Favorite.
Wow! Way to make the most of the lighting! Very dramatic!!
wonderful image ! nice to meet your son !
Great image, your some looks very focussed and relaxed. Tony :-)
Stunning. I love the manner in which you've captured the essence of what martial arts really should be...meditation coupled with specific actions. No gloating, no testosterone-laden posturing, simply...contemplation. Great work in capturing and showing this. Your small enhancements work beautifully in this image.
Splendid moment. Love it ;O)
Beautiful child captured lovingly in a special moment. Your postwork enhances qualities that were already present. Thank you for sharing your son's achievement with us, peace and balance to him always.

Wondeful image, great work
Excellent Norman Rockwell ambiance in this photo. Mister Miyagi would be proud of this scene. Per chance you used an omni or spotlight filter during your postwork process.
He looks like he is having a very special moment and with the light just on him like this it gives a spiritual feeling to the image. Great shot :)
Awesome photo. Congrats to Connor
