Description
A study in lighting, treedesign and texturing, trying to achieve that special play of light in the tender spring foliage - requiring quite some tampering with the "backlight" effect in the Vue texture editor ;)
Vue 5 Infinite render, trees modeled in Onyxtree, grass with G3D "Grass". Texturing done in Vue.
Thanks for viewing, comments etc. very welcome and appreciated.
Have a nice day

Exceptional! I really love those trees, and seeing them I think I'll need to get a copy of Onyxtree for myself....and the lighting is really wonderful!
Extraordinary image, very beautiful!
Very good! You've done a serious job on the lighting..Not easy to backlight foliage to a convincing level!
Amazingly well done, and so hard it must have been. Incredible work in the light. Congrats.
Are you kidding me? This rocks! ~Looks for picnic basket and blanket~ Ahhhhh sweet smells Mmmmmmmmmmm..
Beautiful work....reminds me of a park I used to take my dog walking at in Alberta Canada....beautiful detail here! Very well done!
Great Render. Everything in this picture is outstanding!
Ah, what a marvellous spring scene. Super trees and other vegetation.
What a gorgeous place, very much like near where I live!
Simply beautiful! The lighting is not from this world - fabulous!
Outstanding! I'd say you captured the feeling perfectly!
Closed to perfection !!!
wow. it's a real beauty. the light is fresh and welcome, the foliage and tree shapes are wonderful, the composition classically good. uf, i wish i had no crits... it's actually an add/on-crit. if you would just enhance the tree closest to the camera and model it into a 'hero tree'... well... then it would be 5*+ All the best. your work has remarcable quality most of the time:) good luck
Spring Foliage is very beautiful. That time of spring when the ends of branches are just beginning to blur with new growth is a favorite of mine and you caught it so well, I can almost smell the air. Thanks!
wow great job
This one is really a masterpiece!
Superb scene, the modelling and eco are spot-on complimented with fine lighting.
Most excellent work!
Wonderful work, so beautiful and well done!
