Description
I would tell you how sneaky I was being when I took this shot, but really, these were growing in a ditch! If I remember right, this blossom was no bigger than a quarter! I think this is from last May. Enjoy the virtual sunshine! :)

Superb Macro!!!
Beautiful vivid colors and textures with exhilarating contrasts, displayed in this lovely macro, my dear friend! Is Wild Strawberry the actual name of this plant, and, if so, does it literally grow strawberries?
The colors are awesome and such detail, just beautiful.
A sweet and gorgeous capture. Bunny

Sunshine, indeed! I had to put my shades on to view this one! Thanks for the early start on my tan. :-)

fantastic macro...really beautiful
Oh, the things you find in ditches. I love the colors here, and the splash of red. This reminds me of some bizarre deep-sea creature--or some alien that I'd write about if I wasn't so hooked on writing about...well...very strange people. Another favorite! Top notch work!
Lovely pink flower from the wild strawberry, brings some welcome sunshine as this week as turned cold again. As others have said here in the UK our strawberry flowers are white. great narrow Dof with this, delightful macro!
