Description
This dedication is for my dear friend Lou who has a place in the hearts of so many in the community through her kindness. Lou is a wonderful poser artist who creates some of the most angelic and beautiful scenes you could ever hope to behold. She has been with me since my first postings and remained a loyal friend and a inspiration to me. When I asked Lou if I could do a dedication for her the response I got was she asked me if I was up for a real challenge. She then told me of the story when she was shopping with her Mom and saw a magical fae wand in a store. Lou told her Mom that is what she wanted for her fourth birthday. So here is my vision of that day for my friend Lou. ( Hope you like it )
Lou's Magical Fae Wand: At last the day she had waited for so long had arrived, it was Lou's birthday and she could see what was in the presents that had been sitting on the table for days now. Her Mother had everything prepared for this day, including a huge birthday cake, adorable fae castle, a magical fae outfit with wings for Lou to wear and most important of all Lou's friends and cousins. Lou instantly goes for the long box, and upon opening it her heart fills with joy seeing she at long last could hold that magical fae wand she had longed for. This was truly a magical moment for Lou as she raised the wand and uttered some magical words !!!
Well if you must know nothing happened and Lou threw a tantrum and her party came to a end. :) ( OOps looks like Mom should've gotten one that worked. lol ) Hope it gave my friends a smile,
Dave

Imagination in the childhood is a wonderful gift. Unfortunately the most people lose this talent as grownup. But you Dave, you have it preserved!!!!

Yet another wonderful dedication...you really have a way with the poser children :D
Wonderful WORK very well.
This is so cute and adorable. It is wonderful how our imaginations worked when we were children. Your party scene is every little girls dream. I'm sure that the magic wand worked, we just couldn't see it. This is a lovely dedication. Fabulous work on the scene and the story.
the expressions are priceless ;D great detail in this fun scene...terrific dedi for a lovely gal!
Wonderful dedication Dave. I also had a birthday wish when very young.. to become an Engineer (actually a Wizard.. but close enough.. hehehe). I got a Tinkertoy Set that Birthday and built my first contraption (a windmill) and here I am today.. a Wizard of an Engineer. (Oh.. and at least my windmill spun with the wind... lol. Kudos to parents) Super fun image Dave. Must have taken a lot of work.. Big time bravo and best wishes from Dave :^)
Dave this is a another adorable work. I love so much your images and cute storys behind.
Aaah Dave' maybe the wand worked in another way, by bestowning Lou with such wonderful and magical poser talents. Wonderful dedicaton image to a very kindhearted artist indeed! Muis
That's a wonderful scene Dave! I love your images :)
Awwwww! Your renders so touch my heart! You really do have magic in your soul, how else could you capture all our memories and stories so divinely? Poor Lou, all she needed was a teensy pinch of pixie dust sprinkled on the wand and it would have worked!
You've done a wonderful job of posing all the characters. The younger (and smaller) ones pressing closer to Lou so they too can be at the centre of activity. I know I did that to my brother all the time. Being ten years older than me, he got really cool gifts too. But the children's intensity on the staff is spot on. No doubt the others were just as disappointed as Lou that the wand did not turn someone into a toad. Snicker. Of coarse Lou should have known something was up when Mom didn't stand clear of her when she opened the gift! Snicker, snicker! BTW, I received a toy machine gun for one birthday. You can well imagine my disappointment when...
La baguette magique à l'air de bien lui plaire !!!!Elle en oublie le reste de ses cadeaux!!!!Belle mise en scène!!!!BRAVO MON AMI
Really wonderful image and dedication!! Love all the little details and the lovely way you are doing these images :) hugs
Fantastic scene and composition, great dedication, very nice render;)
Funny image good work erland
The general consensus from other artists commenting here is the same in every language. Charming. Upon reading them I try to say what was missed up to this point. Okay, I'll bet the unopenned presents sitting on the table contain, one: "Properly uttered words to operate you New Magical Wand" and Two: "Batteries" And as everyone else uttered their comments here. Charming.
Great scene. Well done.

Lovely image and wonderful story. Too bad she was too young to know that the real magic is in one's heart!
