Description
The two cameras on the left belonged to my parents.
The two cameras on the right are my own.
It's neat to now own the camera I remember from childhood.
Thank you so much for your comments and faves on my last upload!
I was astonished and humbled by your generosity!
And thanks for stopping to have a look today.

great setup. things sure have changed over the last couple decades.
thats quite a bit of history there maria and things have certainly come a long way in this period of time .so the canon is what your taking all these fabulous bird pics with :o). mick
Amazing how things have progressed. Nice presentation! I have a feeling that the Canon gets the best images... :-)
I am wondering just what camera you used for this shot Maria!!! A wonderful history. How things have changed. A splendid shot. Hugs. Diane.
He he... interesting historical reconstitution... and indeed, I was asking myself the same question as Didi...what camera for this shot ? And also, why are there so few artists authorizing the appearance of the EXIF info ?
great presentation of lovely machines.
Very nice cameras with good memories attached. I had a Brownie Box and loved it!Unfortunately, the Great Flood of '79 down where I hail from, took that and everything else the family owned down the Bayou and out to sea.
lovely family history and portrait!! Amazing how technology advances! 8;o)
very interesting history and concept
Really interesting capture of all the camera's Maria, and beautifully presented too - hugs Jane xx
very informative.
wonder if the old ones still work . cool shot of them all
Cool one Maria. Leaves only the question, with which camera did you take this shot ;-)
Good heavens, Maria, a photographer's trip into the past! I remember the cameras well. Ansel Adams and Matthew Brady would be proud of you! The 1955 Argus Super looks so primitive. Incidentally, I intend using pics of old cameras in my future avatars, so stay tuned.
Great idea. I have a lot of my old cameras somewhere. :)
I had a Brownie box as a teenager.it was not such a great camera but I was thrilled with it.excellent memories you have.all I have that belonged to my mother is an antique dresser and some old dolls.I would sell them but never tried
Great concept and beautifully done!
The years do pass by! I remember playing with the spent blue lightbulbs as a child! ;)
Those camera's have seen the world and many wonderous images. Nice to see the giant leaps camera's have taken over the years. I think the digital age has made the camera more user friendly, and in turn hooked a whole new genration of photographers. Nice shot of some old and new memories~ Aloha~
Fantastic concept and great shot.
Great historical shot, Maria. I love the old cameras. I wonder if you can even buy flashbulbs for them any more?
A cool family camera portrait. I would never have this idea. And we can see the technological progress at the same time :-) Thanks for sharing Hugs Virginie
Now that is indeed awesome and you made a really pro shot out of it too. Excellently done. :) Could be fun to have a challenge to show all our old cameras in the photography Forum ?
Excellent and thanks for sharing.
Fantastic history and wonderful photo my friend.....!!!!
fantastic! a very creative concept! beautiful presentation
Interesting collection. Superb idea and shot. Cool camera from 1955!
Excellent.
Excellent photo idea. So you are the proud owner of a Canon! Excellent camera; I've been so tempted to get one myself. But job security is a concern at the moment; I have to be frugal. (Yeah, I know .. boring)
Excellent historic shot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
