Description
While sifting through the hundreds of shots I brought back the tree in this one almost literally jumped out at me so I had to post it. It was very cold in spite of being sunny and bright.
Lots more to come.
Thanks for Looking!

A most excellent capture Ken and fantastic view. ;-)
Reaching for my jumper...I can feel the cold of this chilly landscape capture ! Great eye and composition, good to see you back again and posting ! ~Cheers~
yes that tree would jump. This is a lovely shot. I see snow on the trees too
What a fabulous shot. It looks so real it almost looks unreal. Ok that sounds goofy, but look who said it. Beautiful shot bunny.
Fantastic shot and view, Ken. Excellent POV and very beautiful light and mood!
Superb!
A great shot Ken.
Speaking of Treants, man, if that thing jumped out at me, I think I'd have a heart attack.
beautiful
That tree does seem to demand attention. You gave it in the best possible way.
Wow! The tree adds a lot to the composition, very old I imagine. The whole canyon is very old! Looks like a great place to explore!!
Old indeed, at about 5 million years it's the biggest ditch in the world.
Outstanding snapshot! I love this old and weathered tree and the gorgeous vista beyond.
Incredible!
Very lovely.
