Oh the pain. This image... what to say. The biggest pain I have ever undertaken. 45 hours work, texture specular problems, poke through discovered at 22 hours on the render, the hair.... oh the hair. The lighting.. pain... pain..... pain.... LOL!
There I have had my moan! If I had known how many problems I would encounter on this image, I would have gone and done something else. LOL!
Still here it is finished! Workflow: Poser 7 > Interposer Pro > Cinema4D > Vray.

Like everyone else, I'm sorry you went through so much trouble to get this image. I know exactly how you feel, what with the computer problems and all, except I can't produce work of this caliber. I wish that I could... Absolutely fantastic image. Especially the colors and textures on the wall. Can't really say why, but the vending machines in the background really make the image for me.
well, all your pain was not in vain...this is a super composition and render...the textures and lighting are REALLY great!
