Description
Trying to get any shot of these birds was almost impossible. They were SO high on these thermals, I nearly fell over backwards shooting straight up. There were dozens of them--soaring, gliding, free!!!

LOL at your description of falling backwards .... what a wonderful shot...
I can imagine you leaning back trying to capture these lol You are right, they are hard to catch :) Love the blue sky behind them as well.. :)
Wonderful shot!! Get dizzy only by looking at this shot!!
I love buzzards and always try to get shots of them overhead but they seem to sore higher and higher until they finally glide out of sight before I can get a single photo! :-)
But they make a great picture against that blue sky ! Ana
Very exceptional photo mate!!! Aye aye!!! hehe
why did`nt you just lay down and take them :o)..this is terrific against this blue sky .your new cam not come yet ? mick
ahhh but Marilyn think of the joy you bring, with the bright blue sky and giving those of us who live in colder climes just a glimpse of summer and warmth - thank you my friend - hugs Jane xx
Gorgeous colours!
I agree with Mick, just lie down, it takes the strain of your neck. Then again it depends 'where you are', you don't want to be doing that with a crowd around, they'd be turning up in white coats to carry you off. Excellent capture none the less, I think I would have cropped the white out though Marilyn. The blue of the sky is fantastic, like Jane says, it gives us a warm glow in colder climes. Bravo!!!!!
OHHHHH so nice - I feel free. Wonderfull :-)
Gorgeous shot! This is very cool.
Bet they were scouting for dinner.
Stunning shot!
Splendid colors Marilyn!
What a wondrous shot! Almost abstract in the colours, but the birds give it depth. Mindblowing!
You got them good. cool looking
Beautiful sky color and nice bird capture. Todd
wonderful
wouldnt that be great to do, fly away and soar high! nice shooting
I almost fell over backwards just looking at them. If you would hjave been lying down and they carried off I can just imagine what you might have captured. Great shot.
