Description
Brandy used to watch his eyes,
When he told his sailor stories.
She could feel the ocean foam rise,
She saw its ragin' glory.
But he had always told the truth, Lord,
He was an honest man.
And Brandy does her best to understand.
She hears him say: "Brandy, you're a fine girl, (You're a fine girl.)
"What a good wife you would be. (Such a fine girl.)
"But my life, my lover, my lady is the sea."
from the song 'Brandy'
This started in Apophysis, and I found a mood I really liked. I then added filters and the ship, brush work by www.annikavonholdt.com
Do you think the lady in the sea is too dark? I didn't want the focus too much on her.

Wonderful artwork.

Beautiful!!
This is really pretty and fits the song well...now, imo, the lady is a wee bit too dark, but all in all it's a wonderful image S

Very beautiful :)
Romantic beautiful and sad... I zoomed in on it...much better Hugs n love Susan~
Beautiful Randee! Bravo!
Both beautifully done, Randee..and I like this one best. In my opinion, the darker colouring, soft moonlight and the more subtle view of the face lends a mood befitting your title and concept. Excellent work.
what they all said :D
Really original scene with nice mood. Congrats!
