Description
After we lost our first Samoyed, we waited for awhile.
When we were ready, we went to an adoption sponsored by Homeward Bound Rescue.
Kiska caught our eyes immediately. My wife sat on her crate while I ran to get the paper work. We walked her around the store, and she came up to a small girl (Maybe 5?) she was so sweet and let the little girl pet her.
Kiska has been the perfect dog, just add food and water. She is so nurturing that we started her into being a therapy dog. Now she is a licensed therapy dog, with all the papers. Where Yukon loves to pull, Kiska loves to love.
It is amazing that someone could abandon such a creature? Well, lucky us! We get to keep her!!

Beautiful portrait! Makes me really miss my Kody (I grew up with a Samoyed, who's sadly no longer with us) I love that alert and interested look as she stares directly at the camera. You can see so much personality in this photo!

She's beautiful!!!!! One of my bunnies came from a shelter and I the reason he was left there was "kids got bored of him". Parents should not teach their children that animals are throwaways.

Awesome capture of Kiska's face! Her eyes seem to hold the wisdom of the world! Our three are adopted also, though not through any rescue. They came to live with us through assorted ways. Folks who adopt new family members are high on my A list, LOL!
