Description
I came by this flower with the celebration of a birthday. My daughter's kindergarten friend just turned 18 friday and it was celebrated with a huge party. The orchids were the centerpieces, and we were given one to take home... I've been having fun and have several (LOL... or more) photos. I was hoping to get it outside with some natural light, but we haven't had any here in 'sunny' Southern California; it's been clouds and rain for days now.
I have been busy, busy, busy, and I haven't had much time to get on the computer, much less browse your galleries. I am sure I am missing out on some great stuff.
Thanks for stopping in, viewing and commenting on my previous upload, "A Flower" . Please keep stopping in! I will get back to visiting and commenting soon, I hope!
Have a great day!

Fine POV employed in this macro of the lovely orchid, replete with soft colors and textures, Melinda! And yes, you have been missing out on some great stuff.
very beautiful orchid and pov.
super POV... and great clarity.. you are improving by the day!!
I forgot to mention, this is my first ever orchid... I hope I don't kill it before I can take more photos :0)
What a great capture. You can almost feel the softness of the petals
This is a great pov. It couldn't be easy to get a decent focus of the center and the forward petals but you did it well.
Beautiful!

Sunny southern California sounds like Prague...all clouds and rain! This image is gorgeous though, I happen to have a fondness for orchids, and this image shows quite a lot of why. Gorgeous image! Wonderful angle!
