Description
After giving everyone a taste of Spring in my previous render, it's back to a cold and snowy render of Winter, today. My greatest challenge on this one was achieving the icy layer to the surface of the water. I wanted it to begin at the snow line of the terrain and continue somewhat, out over the water toward the viewer.

Really good feeling. Have one suggestion, snow needs 'breaking up' where it meets the water. (Water is not frozen so would melt the snow where it meets... bits of rock grinning through.) Regards Bruce1i

You have done a great job on the POV, the waves really look great.
This is a fantastic render...the colors and subtle contrasts are fantastic, as are the various textures. The varied ripples on the water are particularly good, in my opinion; the way they increase somewhat as they grow closer to the viewer implies advancing ice wonderfully. Fantastic work.
