Description
This has got to be the smallest dog in the world. She was just a puppy, and was running around with her person, hiding behind the woman's foot. (The dog was just a tiny bit bigger than the foot!)
I like to get doggie shots where they're looking at the camera, but Mindy Lou just wasn't cooperating. There was another dog there that she was playing with, and I wasn't very high on her list of interesting stuff to look at!
This was shot last July in the parking lot at my office.
ps - Wanna know how small she is? I shot this as a macro! LOL!

What an adorable little doggy!!!!
I'm not a fan of little dogs, but she sure is cute. Good job!
Lovely study. Great light!
Great study! I'm glad you mentioned the parking lot.(I had thought it was a little dog on the moon!) How did you get the effect?
Great capture Tara, a gorgeous little dog, very cute indeed. My son's girlfriend has one very much like Mindy-Lou called Tilly. I might upload one of her one day.
small but big of heart... a dog with an mind of its own. adorable shot.
She looks a lot bigger here, but they say the camera adds at least 10 pounds!! She is adorable!!
Beautiful work.
Very cute... Aloha
Cute shot and like this proud standing of this pup.
Great capture, that puupy is way cute.
lol Very cute- and tiny- excellent shot.. er, macro lol
I have a very gory story about one of these dogs from the 60's, but I won't go into that. Wonderful macro Tara, you did very well to get it to stand still for a couple of seconds, never mind looking at the camera, they are so darn frisky. Excellent work. Bravo!!!!!
She is indeed a tiny cutie. HAHA! And you used Macro. Still she looks like she doesnt know how tiny she is. Excellent capture, Tara :)))
now that is small :o)..wonderful shot tara mick
A pocket dog! She looks wonderfully healthy, unlike some tiny dogs.
LoL! what a cute lil guy, and fantastic shot of the uncooperative fella lol =]
Fantastic shot, beautiful colours.
Well, even the lighting with your animal photos is superb. It makes a good photo a great one! Very nice! Cute little dog!
Adorable, dear T :o)
that's a little dog.
cutie
What a cute doggy. Excellent shot!!
Looking at this excellent shot of yours of such a delightful puppy, she appears to be a chihuaha pup, and I have to say after years of taking shots of dogs in show stance for advertising, she to me is being very co-operative, apart from her ear set LOL You have taken a fabulous detailed and sharp shot of her, and I do tend to use macro with my animal photography too, for the closer pics, which I prefer, and also most in my gallery are on the small side of life :o) Great work - hugs Jane xx
What a cutie. :) Would need part of the owner's foot for scale to really appreciate the small size of this puppy. Nice portrait.
Excellent picture. Todd
very cute!!!!!!!
I am with Jane. Wonderful!
She has some pretty coloring..she is a chihuaha for sure...my mom had several of these over the years.. good pets but very protective..they seem to think they are the biggest on the block..
She is beautiful Tara and your shot in the sunshine is stunning. Hugs. Diane. xx
