Description
I spent 4 hours last night modelling my new spacecraft on the left in this image, the 2 that are following it are my own models as well that I used in yesterdays offering. I spent 2 hours after that trying to get the lighting right as I wanted a cloudy sunset looking sky. This is the best sky out of a bad lot I'm afraid but I really wanted to upload this one as I'm in a sci-fi mood at the moment.
Any comments and critiques are most welcome.
Enjoy ... Tony.
I also have free stuff here on Renderosity if anyone fancies a look.

i am so glad that you stuck with this sky Tony! this is incredible and the ships are totally fantastic and i only wish i had the skill to make models like this ! you inspire me so much as now i want to make a sci fi image ;o) definately goes into my favorites!!!! ;o))
The modeling work on the foreground ship is excellent, Tony. And the sky and lighting compliments the title very well. Your time spent on the render was well worth the end result.
Must be "International Sci Fi week" ;-) just razzing ya Tony, this is excellent modeling, sad reality is creating unique 3d is always time intensive - in your cases; been very well investiture. Bravo~Sazz~
Sky in this one took some time I'm sure.Very sci-fi. The leading ship is designed well with aerodynamics...Be careful Tony as you may get a call from the NSA(lol):)))
Excellent models...gee is it something going around(?) there are a few of us that are into the alien thing lately.Well worth your effort and I think the sky is great also.May not be what you had realized but excellent none the less.

MARVELOUS MY FRIEND !
A beautiful 4 hours spent, love the colors and textures, very well done Tony!
Nice work! I especially like the rear ships. Cool design.
I like the POV and the "retro-scifi" look it has. Very Buck Rogers-ish, which really works well with the colors.
How about cloudy sunset? Gorgeous! Love the lighting and the ships. I like the posturing of the ships too. Excellent work. Bunny
