Thanks, it was few summers ago, with a Nikon 4500 Digital. I still think it’s a great quality camera, great for a macro photo because you can whip it out and point the lens in one direction, the screen in your direction. I mainly shoot in restoration areas. I have never taken a macro insect shot with a tripod, as most of my shots have been mid day sun, in my lunch hour and therefore the critters are very lively and there's no time to set up a pod, they would be long gone. I'm glad to service the needs of this photo community, thanks for your comments.
