Description
Around midmorning today we started getting some snow flurries, and by late afternoon we actually had some snow on the ground, a very rare occurrence here, especially so early in the season. I can't remember getting snow on Christmas day in Portland.
This is Helvetia Church; it seemed like the perfect way to demonstrate our white Christmas. I hope everyone had or is having a wonderful day.

What a beautiful picture and the snow makes it even that much better. I was so excited to see our snow. They are saying up to 3 inches tomorrow but I would be delighted if they were wrong and we got a foot of it! Merry Christmas to you and Deb.

Beautiful! We got snow too, beginning around noon or so. Perfect snow - it stuck everywhere but on the road. :) This is a lovely image, my friend. Just right for the holiday.

We've had a lot of snow lately, but none on Christmas day ... This church could be right around the corner from me if i didn't know it wasn't, it looks like the typical church in the Northeast .. Awesome pic ... Merry Christmas to you!
