Taking a little Detour from my Mauna Iki Hike series to wish everyone a Very Warm Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We had a blizzard of a snow storm here in Hawaii on top of Mauna Kea. Aloha

Yep, snow in Hawaii. I just hope the people you took pictures of the other day, don't try snow boarding on this stuff. Hard rock landings. Going to have more snow tonight. Maybe we will get another great shot of Mauna Kea for Christmas. Aloha and Mele Kalikimaka.
Yes, they were snow boarding that day. They also landed on the rocks but all were ok........
