Description
Poser to Photoshop to create a pretend 'Look-and-Learn-type-splash-page' for a feature story. Lots of Mike 2's and 3RR's. Gaulish Legion Roman Helmet by Manoloz (in freestuff). Thankyou for looking and all the encouraging comments made to date.

great scene with excellent pov and interesting postwork
Nicely balanced colours and the painted effect really works. The only thing that sticks out is that it looks like they are getting together for a friendly chat rather than a fight to the death!!
Superb. Great colour scheme. Very good work.
Wonderful scene the postwork is spendid as always, and the pov is excellent.
MarkHirst, took the post right out of my keys (words right out of my mouth). First impression, a really excellent balance of everything. Each level of color and composition rises and falls and overlaps in a complimentary way that creates tension and makes room for type to be legible. That doesn't happen by accident. Second impression, there's a traffic jam at the door during the shift change. ; ) Still, really digging your post work. An excellent illustration.
Points very well made - especially the 'traffic jam at the stage door'.I suppose if 'Look and Learn' still existed it might turn to Frank Miller for the odd 'splash page'. What I had conceived of however, was a kind of 'rucking' and 'stand-off' and 'hurling' of insults, before the fighting began. But it does now look a bit like two slightly antagonstic groups passing in the corridor.Better luck next time.
