Toxic woke up, her mind feeling fuzzy and her body needing to pee. She felt cold. That irritated her. She never felt cold before. She wished for clothes to wear and for the loud babbling people to be quiet. Clothes appeared on her, like out of a dream and felt warm again. She sniffed, half-asleep for the smell of urine. She remembered that the flying city people were very picky about where they peed at. She walked out the front door of the Morgue and shuffled down the hall-way in search of a lavatory. She passed some offices until she reached a tiled room. She found a place to do her business and almost fell asleep on the toilet. She was thirsty and went over to the sink. She remembered what Jin had told her about faucets. She drank from the tap.after some fumbling. She wiped her mouth on the back of her right hand and looked into the mirror. She stopped in shock. She was looking at the world in full color! She had alway seen the world in sepia tones, as far as she could remember. She paused in wonder, looking at the rainbow hues on her skin. She thought back on what her mother had told her about 'seeing the world through new eyes', but she didn't know what that meant. She laughed as her eyes flashed back light from the bathroom lights. "Oooooh, Glowy EYEBALLS! Neat!" She preened for a moment, until her stomach rumbles bent her over. "Ugh...Hungry! Colorful FOOD! I want to bite a rainbow!" She slunk out into the hall and sniffed. She heard water bubbling and followed her nose. She smacked her lips in anticipation of a fish dinner. She stopped abruptly in her sneaking around and looked down and plucked at her new clothes. She looked around in suspicion. After a moment of thought,she whispered to herself,"Right! Gotta remember THIS! If I run into a naked woman, ask if I stole her clothes by accident. ...While I was asleep. ...or dead. I hope I wasn't robbing peoples clothes while I was dead. Creepy." She giggled at the thought of dead people trying to hold up live people and slipped into the office where the bubbling sound came from. --TO BE CONTINUED!--
