Description
Here is the image for the month of April from my first formal photography experience with a baby. Her mother wants to print calendars as Christmas gifts and thought of this idea last minute, so I had a lot of pressure to have 12 print-worthy portraits done in time!
I had a chair, a sheet, a tripod, and what passes for natural light on a typical Belgian winter day. The Canon 40D's amazing performance with 1600 ISO is what saved the day. There are some lighting enhancements done in postwork as well. I'm pleased with the result!
A big thank you to Onslow, inshaala, GiMi53, Nameless_Wildness, and Radlafx whose encouragement on the RR Photography Forum gave me the courage to try this in the first place.
I'll be posting more of my favourites in the days to come. Thanks for stopping by. :)

Excellent.
I read a tread in a forum, and you did a wonderful shot. This bub is an angle with those little wings, great light use too.
Would be better if the object was framed more to the right.
