The Bible verse quoted above is one of my favorite--and most unlived up to, so I am dedicating my 400th render to all the brave activists--of both secular and faith of all creeds and religions--who have answered the call: Those who cajole, annoy, witness, berate, testify, march, or stand up for unpopular truth and justice. Those who endure arrest, imprisonment, torture, beatings, house arrest, threats, ostracism, loss of jobs, public censure for their beliefs or cause. Those who are murdered and cripled or whose families and friends suffer because of their stance. Those who cry out against the shameful acts of our governments and corporations--or of ourselves. Those who pursue unpopular but necessary solutions to our myriad problems. Who are relentless in regaling us with inconvenient truth. To those who risk their lives to bring relief to the starving, the homeless, the disenfranchised. Who are there in the hard times with a hug, a smile, a helping hand. May you all live to see your vision of a better world realized. ******************************* I want to say a very special thanks to my friend, Valerie Ducom, for her generosity in allowing me to use one of her many beautiful photographs as the background for this, my 400th picture.
