Description
This is a view of one of the small roads in Rosthwaite, the small village I stay in. The original shot was reasonably pleasant but nothing to write home about so I had a play with it in PhotoShop.
As this was produced on the day I took it, I can't, for the life of me, remember what I did to it but the result was quite striking. (Though, maybe, not quite to everyone's taste.)
Though some of it appears to be negative, a comparison with the original shows that it is not wholly inverted so I suspect I did a solarisation of some kind.
However, I hope you like it.
Have a good day and thanks for looking. :-)

Wow! This turned out wonderfully! Happy Holidays!
Quite a striking image. How does it compare to the color version? Or straight bw?
Tom, here is a small copy of the original. I hope it will do for comparison. :-)
Fantastic picture, looks like a scene out of an old horror flick only better, excellent work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice perspective shot, and the effect is stunning.
