Description
My friend did a huge apple pressing last month. This was a foto she took, and I did postwork on. I love the foto, the hands and the apples. She liked it so much, she turned it into her Christmas card!! And of course, we all got gallons of cider!!
Oh, and Tara did a bit of postwork as well, ty very much!!

Yummy! I love cider. Did you save me any? I love this - I can see why your friend liked this shot. Lots of nice symbolism here. Beautiful!

I have thought about getting an old press and making my own cider but where to get one? And a small one at that. I agree that the many different hands are great!
This is such a rich image...I love the colors and yes, there is a ton of symbolism here...it's gentle and warming in so many ways. The postwork is excellent! So is the way the image is seen and captured.
Nice photo.
I love hands. I think hands can tell us so much about a person. very nice and I like cider too :)
Wonderful shot....we experience so much with our hands, touching is a wonderful sense...

It's nice to see people helping each other, there should be more of it in my book. Excellent image. Bravo!!!!!
Apple-picking is such a wonderful family yearly tradition! And this image is exactly the kinds of memories it evokes in me. The apple pressing itself sounds like hard work, but lots of fun! Lovely colours and love the title. Makes for such a warm, and most special image! Beautiful apples!
I prefer apple pie or cobbler myself but it is a beautiful picture for a card
Hands across the orchard! Wow, you have red delicious, gala, fuji, pippin, grannies, romes....the whole shootin' match represented in this fine overview shot of apples, Marilyn! Fine variety of colors and textures all around!
not a bad shot, fresh apples are the best
Have never been to an apple pressing...but used to help my Mom peel a lot of them for canning and for making applesauce...nice work on the image...
Reminds me of taking the Brownie troop to the orchards for a tour and a pressing! Lovely shot!
