Description
This is a shot of Derwent Water - my favourite lake. It offers such a wide variety of photographic opportunities with urban scenes at the North end in Keswick to wild countryside at the Southern end. It even differs on its Eastern and Western shores. :-)
The old landing stage on the Eastern shore has long fascinated me and, with the water as calm as this, made for a wonderfully desolate picture.
This is a straight shot un-tampered with in PhotoShop except to re-size and add the signature.
