Description
alhak had some photos for us to guess what it was. The last image alhak showed us what it was. A sugar cane cutter. here is the link http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1573419&member.
here one that is in action. I did took many shots and this is one of the best ones that came out. This one do not have tires like alhak but treads like a tank. I got that shot as it traves close to me going to the other side of the field.
I did crop it for I rested the camera on top my truck roof and the lower part of the photo was my roof top lol But I thought I needed to act fast so I did not use a tripod; live and learn.
thanks for looking and comments

took this friday. They been cutting cane around here and burning fields. I was hopeing to get shots up close to the action but I know no one that let me do that. Maybe one day. i know Ai can not run in the feild for then I be trespassing and they may think I get hurt. I understant that
Wonderful capture, Jocko! I think the crop is great - it gives this a nice composition. Sue is gonna love this! :)

The farmers here don,t mind me takeing pictures right in the fields!! and they will do a spin around of combine etc if i do circle with hand!!! many are proud of the equipment and don,t mind me getting a shot!! few in my gallery here like that!!!

Cool capture Jocko, Sue will love it, you'll have to get their attention and then they may let you get closer, I find a cool beer goes down a treat, especially when its hot and dusty work. Excellent work. Bravo!!!!!
that is awesome:)
Gorgeous photo!!! it worked out just fine! and that machine is nothing to contend with!!! I would run for my life!
HAHAHA!
Very beautiful capture, Jock!!! Splendid colors, light and details!!!
SUGAR SUGAR SUGAR :) WONDERFUL IDEA!
Oh, so nice picture on this scene and I like your color and composition ! Lovely dedi my friend ! Good day :)
Great shot and interesting info. Thanks, Jocko!
excellent work Jock.seen plenty down around Houston.can you imagine working in the fields from daybreak to past dark cutting by hand and hauling the stalks on your shoulder for very little pay. I know you are still climbing ladders but back when I was doing it daily, I was thinking it sure was hard work.but working in the hot fields with no shade was far harder than any painting job
Good field shot, like all the machine in action.
Excellent photo Jock!
Beautiful shot and a very beautiful document about sugar cane cutting !!!
My shots of machinery in fields never turn out this good. Nice one Jocko.
great foto
Jocko, fine "nature being harvested" sugar cane photo!!! And I just cannot resist calling it "sweet"...
Oh, so that's how they do it these days! I thought they still used people with machetes. Good POV and textures in this shot, Jock. Incidentally, as for accordions or squeeze boxes, there are four main types that I could find: concertina, bandneon, melodeon, and flutina. I don't know which kind your friend in the band uses.
Very neat, and you have shown me something that I have never seen before. Thanks for the agricultural lesson!
The only one I have ever seen is when I was in Hawaii but somehow looked different thanks for the photo and the education!!~ goodnight sugar (smiling lol)
WOW, just like here in OZ...can't do "chocolate" without sugar ! Neat working farm shot Jock ! ~Cheers~
Excellent shot of this beautiful .
Thank you for this my friend! wonderful shot in action! Every time I go to my friends cane fields they are never cutting or burning so I miss out on the shots....these machines sure are scary looking up close, a bit evil in fact!
Great shot, always good to see where things come from, the things we just take for granted!!
