Nikon 7900 pocket camera - hand held image.
This little jumping spider was just on the verge of jumping onto the camera lens when I managed to get this shot. I liked his fearless attitude (which is common to most jumping spiders) and the fact that my reflection is visible in 4 of his eyes, lol.
Thanks to those who take the time to comment.

Very interesting fellow, the reflections are awesome wonderful color and detail excellent!! If I thought he was going to jump not sure I could have stood still long enough to get the shot, in focus anyway, LOL.
Great shot! Looks like a king with a crown and royal color!
Now this is what I call macro ! Incredible shot !
Too close for comfort, again this detail is incredible, you must have nerves of steel (hand held) !
Cutest spider I've ever seen. Those eyes and fuzziness and that great green beardy thing. Marvelous capture!!!

Holy crap! now that is a macro shot if I have ever seen one. The simple fact you were close enough for him to get onto the lens lets me know you were way to close for me.

I never knew they had green on them. Of course I would have ended up on my butt trying to jump AWAY from the spider. Literally. :o) Excellent capture. You are amazing. Bunny
The eyes are in perfect focus Lee, and the reflection is fantastic. This is a real 'spot on' capture. In a word 'Awesome'. Excellent, photography at its best. Bravo!!!!!5+++++
Wicked Macro!! What size lens was used??
You have captured the fearlessness of this warrior. His colors and hunting costume are wonderful. :-) An extremely clear capture! Stellar macro.
Most awesome and also creepy- he looks like he has all the cunning of the hunting Tiger.. except Tigers don't fix you with 4 beady eyes lol Excellently done!
Wow!!!
I am really glad that spiders are only that big in computer games, I think you got a stunning macro. nice to see, even if I don´t like spiders
