Description
could not spell the real name so I used a old work the common people used a long time ago. anyway I liked this shot for some reason. I took a lot of them but the movement of the hands messed them up then I got the right speed and light on this I had the camera on manul. I been learning to use manul for a month now. I have no light meter so I guessing. I price those light meters lol they high. I read reports that the on camera light meter is ok but it be better to get a light meter and do it manul. I do see some good on doing myself but then I flying by the seat of my pants
thanks for looking and comments

lovely insterment and in the right hands they are awesome!!!
Excellent capture Jock!!!
Oh, man! I gotcha here... this is rich and I can hear the full steady tones in my head. The old squeezebox - one of the important pieces to a Louisiana band! washtub bass, squeezebox, fiddle, jug/spoons/washboard/"field guitar"/maybe mandolin if around/and sometimes a fine banjo... and a good toe-tap to round it out. Yeeeeeeeeeee-hah! love it! Great shot, Jock!
You fly good Jocko, this picture has a nice artistic mood!!!
Excellent capture and mood!!!
that is beatiful!!!:)
I'm going to have to look up some Cajun music now. Great closeup of this squeeze box.

This is so great, the light and his hands, you are just making these come to life!! My feet are tappin!!
Just havin' a good old Cajun session here, folks! If I didn't know better, I'd say this squeeze box was some kind of accordion. Terrific lighting effects and silhouetting of the musician's hands and instrument, Jock!
Great closeup shot, Jocko!
beautiful instrument and reduced light capture.the trouble if you leave the lens open too long then the movement gets blurred.the last several days I have been shooting trees, but the wind has been blowing so much, it is hard to get a sharp focus
Great picture.
That came out very well considering that it was a new experiment for you. I can almost hear the music and tapping feet!
HAHAHAHA Jocko I love how you explain things! your a cool guy no doubt! and you did a great job I must say! wow that thing seems old he is playing haha! Take care bud and have a cool weekend! P.s. I yet still have not mastered my camera either! and I found out recently that resizing my photos makes for sharper pictures as compared to cropping huge pictures lol
Love your pics!
Excellent capture! This is very cool.
Superb capture of what appears to be a very old Instrument!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I like this musical series. Love the dimed light.
gorgeous!!!!!!!
I like to hear this instrument Jocko! Great capture :)
My Mammy played a Squeeze box too! ;) Looks like an old one too! Bravo Jock!
What a beautiful and old instrument. Excellent shot!
And I thought it was 'Momma had squeeze box and daddy never sleeps at night' :^D
I used to use (in 1955) the little slip of paper that came with movie film to choose exposure settings. Then I got a video camera (in 1978)and just looked at the monitor. It does work. No meter can ever tell you better than your own eyes. (I had to pay extra for the little monitor. Standard was a little shadow box frame.)
An interesting instrument in a great capture.
Kool close-up, this musician is really banging his box...er, hang on, that doesn't sound right, well you know what I mean ! Neat fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants capture ! ~Cheers~ :o)
Man that is an old one. cool shot Jock

A SPLENDID picture for a traditionnal musician !!! EXcellent picture for the cajun's culture !!!
