Description
Captured 5/2/07 on a very early overcast morning, within walking distance of my abode.
The flowers were beginning to show their age, so I applied an angled strokes filter for a somewhat abstract effect.
Better viewed full size.
Thanks for dropping by, and have a frenetic Friday, on a date that will live in infamy.

Yes, I think so, with this blur, the look of this beautiful flower is a little abstract ! Very nice color ! Good weekend and hugsss :)
Beautiful color and interesting effect you have here... Very nice!
You can get a best out of your shots with filters. Love the strong yellow color than smoothed off a bit with a filter. Fabulous work.

Oh Harry. Oh my. Well, the first thing I did was add this image to my favorites. Now I have to see if I can string two coherent words together to tell you how much I love this. The composition is perfect, the light is gorgeous, your postwork is amazing, and best of all, they're my favorite color! Thank you for posting this, my dear friend. It's absolutely stunning.
Those are some of the loveliest roses you have posted, Harry! And your treatment makes it look like they are shimmering in the breeze! Very nicely done!

I am slightly late in viewing this as I have had many a frenetic Friday!! These are beautiful and not showing their age at all, in my opinion. Very nice treatment, Harry.
