There is a sugar mill close by and I took some shots of it the closest I could get. May go and ask them if I can take phots of the place as it is working. Took this last month; I think. All i know I took a local trip to see what I can shoot. Gone about 6 hours that day lol

When I lived in the Galveston area our class would go to Sugarland to see the sugar mill made sugar. I wasn't impressed then but I sure wish I had paid more attention to it now. I was more concerned with the starting product or the finished product... I chewed alot on sugar cane or piled refined sugar on my oatmeal. How it was made was of no real account. I liek this shot and I hope you can get inside so I can see what it is I didn't pay attention to. :-)
Brings back memories when our sugar mill was running strong. Excellent capture. Aloha
A fascinating architecture photography with this amazing light! Wonderfully taken!!!
Processing Sugarcane and they send to the Sugarcane pulp to the pressure mill and press it into Sound Board, Insulation Board and Ceiling Tiles, Nice shot Jock!!
Mighty tasty! Clearly, brown sugar is the result.
Fantastic shot my friend and impressive atmosphere too..!!!!
Interesting !
Thats cool. most people have never seen a sugar mill.
Very interesting and thought provoking photography Jocko, I do like industrial photo's, I'm always interested in seeing how different things are done. I have been refused addmission to a few places that I visited with a view to doing some photography but hey, they can only say no. If you don't ask you don't get. I would also like to see this again with maybe the sun shining on the opposite bank of the river. Excellent capture and narrative. Bravo!!!!!5++
