Description
Here's another shot of the Swans I got yesterday at Maple Lake - the lake is just starting to freeze over so there is water in places, and .. ice. There were about 30 swans there; in about 3 different groups, huddled together. The storm is now over; I'm not sure how much snow we got. But, there is a pretty blanket of white out there this morning -- kinda pretty. :)
I was so happy at the responses I got on yesterdays upload - I'm so glad you liked it! I hope you like this one, too. I have a few I'd like to upload and show you.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.

Ooooh, this one is even more amazing... and always with these great reflections ! Happy to hear that there are more pictures... Excellent image, Shari Warm hugs !
This reminds me of the Ostrich, they bury their head in the sand, the Swan buries theirs under their wing. No snow here yet but last night we had a lot of hailstone, then rain most of the night, my pond has overflowed, I have had to go out and drain some water off. Another great shot and again great postwork. Don't the Swans fly South for the winter? like most other birds. Bravo!!!!!
Must be a gorgeous scenery there, I would like to enjoy it together with you...;-)) (maybe using a pretty long tele lens) Excellent work!!
Now that looks nasty cold. I hope the swans don't feel it the same way I would. Your storm is going to hit us today. Normally I like leftovers but I could do without them in this case.
Another good one!
A very beautiful shot indeed, but also so COLD looking Brrr.
the adults look like they are trying to tell the young bird something - shutup and go to sleep, maybe.
Beautifult picture again erland

Another very pretty winter scene. The reflections are especially nice but the overall composition and flow of this image are what make it work for me. Thanks for sharing. Lee
