Description
I grew up with many 'old wives tales' oft repeated and interestingly enough, so many of them have proved correct. One was that when there are a great many berries on the holly, it will be a hard winter. All my holly is heavy with berries this year, but what a blessing it will be for the birds, and for all my neighbours this holiday season. Mmmmmmm.....I'm not sure I would enjoy a different clime for Christmas.
