Description
Nikon 7900 pocket camera - hand held image.
This species is closely related to that in yesterday's posting. They are a bit smaller and prey on different species of caterpillars.
One more wasp to go and this series will end, lol.

A spectacular shot. Extraordinary structure!I wonder how this particular design evolved.
Great shot!
Isn't it amazing how very small the waist is! A wonderful shot...
Lee, I am amazed you find so many different sorts of wasps. This one I'm not sure about although I have seem a black one with a vibrant red on it that tells me it is not to be fooled with. Fabulous detail!
nice image and I especially enjoy the natural setting.
Nice work.

first time to see this breed and outstanding macro
The design of these wasps amazes me, I don't know how they manage to fly without the waist snapping. God is indeed mysterious in His way's. It must serve some purpose in life. Excellent detail yet again Lee. Bravo!!!!!
