Description
The best preserved 18th century fishing town in Scotland, here is a former merchants house and at one side the thatched cottage where the novelist Hugh Millar lived.
Cromarty is about 20 minutes drive from Inverness and is worth a visit if you have any interest in historical places.

great foto
The last time I was in Inverness, was way back in the early 1980s, when I holidayed along the Elgin - Forres side of the Moray Firth ( dodging low flying RAF jets most of the time, in a wee Fiat Panda ). This is a good POV, my friend. Regards, John.
