I mentioned yesterday that I normally switch the Red and Blue channels in Photoshop when shooting in infrared. Well, sometimes the color scheme from the camera suits the subject and I leave it as is. Such is the case here, where the reds compliment the coins in the water. -----

Beautiful picture. These look like the ghost of the ferns, instead of the ferns themselves, amazing. Todd
A fantastic IR shot! It looks really as if some postwork would be involved! Especially the area where the coins are on the ground! Stunning really!!!
So fantastic IR again! Thanks! Maire
Ghostly ferns and neat gun metal coloured rocks, lucky that's water and not Coke-a-Cola, other wise there would much spare change left ! KKK...Kool, Kompostion, Kort ! ~Cheers~ :o)
My wish is that everyone turns their backs while I scoop that fountain. :-) Cool shot!
This is really a fantastic capture, really magic ;O)
Nice
Excellent! It is fun to play around with the channels in Photoshop. We used to do 3D images that way in class. ;o)
WOW, again a fantastic shot that I adore Kort!
Nice capture.
Lovely capture and the coins look so shiney.
I wish...amm. Opps I haven't got change on me...bugger! This is a fascinating subject to make IR shot of it. Love the pure white ferns.
nice capture...
What in the world??Did all these coins roll down this downspout? Does it rain money where you live. I think I need to move there, lol.
Not the usual looking wishing well but to each his own. Nice shot.
this is wonderful looking
How unique, I must say! Actually, when I first saw the image there were so many different textures and lighting effects I didn't notice the coins in the water. In any event, nice IR work, my friend.
Quite a nice shot, Kort. Now, did you use that modified camera or is that someone else? This is truly neat.
Nice!! they almost look like dubloon
Looks like a lot of wishes were made here, hope you made a wish for some new camera gear, to add to your collection!!!!! very cool work Kort!!!!!!
Very nice composition and good decision on the channel-swapping. Beautiful!
Interesting, Kort :o)
Beautiful! Well done.
Great composition and an extremely photogenic subject!
I love the way the coins sparkle :D
Nice capture. Aloha
Really great image Kort... it's funny how much like gold the coins look, along with the hue they give the water. Lovely as always mate.
Nice picture but 2 remarks : 1) The end of the bamboo is too close of the center of the picture. 2) The leaf on the bottom and the white line (?) are not welcomed.
Beautiful shot.
Nicely done, Kortalouche. I especially like that bit of water trickling above the coins...Lovely atmosphere in this and the white ferny-looking leaves give it a wonderful edge that makes you look twice...I think maybe I'd prefer it if the bottom were cropped just a bit, and lost most of that white object that's not in focus. But I guess that's just a matter of taste. Have a great Fester-free weekend, my friend....-M ;^)
