Description
My first solo project. Up until now I've been following tutorials only. I'm taking it slow and trying to keep my poly count down so I can cram in lots of detail, so a lot of my time is spent refining, cleaning and/or redoing rather than building. Still, it's fun and good learning. I'm building this modularly so that I can easily create variants for it and use some of it for a Land Speeder Tempest. When it's done, I plan on releasing it as a Poser object for the WH40k Community over at DAZ3d. It's modeled in Modo 301. Obviously, comments and critiques are most welcome.

Did you upload the thumb as the main image by accident? It won't seem to zoom in for me. What I can see of it looks good though :)

Heh, switched the image out. I did have the thumbnail up as the real image. I'm actually using pictures of the model as a reference, don't have any real WH40K models. My main reference is an orthographic from Imperial Armour 2 that I'm using as an image plane. JB

Nice start. I`m making something like this ship myself now, although I want to finish it a a small cargo vessel.
