Description
We had a 'killing' frost this morning, a real car-scraper of a start to the day. Fortunately, I won't need my car today.........but I did find the frosty rose buds quite appealing. Enjoy and
thanks for visiting.

SUPERBLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Bravissimo!V:DDD.Hugsxx
fantastic shot
Beautiful macro with very sharp colours. Excellent contrast!
This is a spectacular shot of a lovely Cold-Hearted Beauty. Your title made me chuckle. This looks like it is covered in sugar and waiting to be placed atop a wedding cake ...too bad it is in its final stage of life.
Simply amazing Chris. They are georgeous.
Great color, but that poor rose...never to fully bloom. Beautiful image:D
This is just stunning, my friend, and it's my favorite color, too! :)
splendide !!!
Oh! Chris this is so beautiful. Sad though to know the flower will die from cold. Gorgeous work and my favorite coloured rose. Superb work. Hugs. Di. xx
Wonderful!!!!
Lovely, intimate shot.
EXCELLENT USE OF AVAILABLE LIGHT.SUPERB PIECE OF WORK
Those icy fingers up and down my spine....terrific colors, clarity and textures in this capture. The flowers/plants must be quite hardy to withstand the early frost. Quite a contrast to the recent spate of photos depicting water droplets on roses, I must say.
A super capture of this beautiful rose with its frosted coating. It looks to have been a real beauty of a frost.
Beautiful... But the poor rose:( Def a fav with me Hugs Susan~
A tasty frozen treat! Excellent picture. Todd
very impressive capture and the snow or frost makes it even more beautiful
Stunning image! Love the colors and the 'sugar frosted' look on the roses! Lovely work!
