Description
There lies the most rarest of creatures. The voracious Tundra Drake. A relative of the dragons from more climate zones, the Tundra Drake has adapted to the cold living. With very few other competitive predators, he's at the top of the food chain in his arctic kingdom.
Took a little break from work to do something for me. I was in a frosty mood and wanted to use Rawart's new Ice Dragon textures. Also wanted to practice some fur painting. I still need a lot of practice.

Wooowwww,such s very cool (HA! HA!)) dragon. I like this very much, not surprises me but very, very good.. Interesting to say the least. That's mt boy!!! Could've used a little less white in the background I think, maybe a little more blue or touchf grey....Great detail on the fur, first one of a kind for me....

To me he is beautiful Rich. This texture is spectacular. Reminds a bit of my Afghan except for that face. If my Ajna had a face like that, he'd have to GO! Tail is similiar to, a whip! This is a great creature ad a fantastic render. I want to see more of him. He's is my kind of creature. I love it.

I love your furry dragon, he's really cute. I know he's supposed to be ferocius and menacing but I think he's cute anyway lol Anyway it looks really good and cool! Don't want to contradict mom lol but I really like the background, and the rocks in the foreground. Maybe a tiny bit less DOF in the foreground, especially that it is split on each side of the rocks. Wonderful scene!

For all of those who are interested, it's the Mil Dragon 2.0 with RawArt's Ice Dragon Textures found on his site. The terrain was done in Vue6I and the fur and snow in PS.

Excellent atmosphere. Great character. I think you did a fantastic job with the fur... I just hope you don't use it to do clothes for women! 8-) I suppose this dragon doesn't spit fire or it would melt itself... maybe it spits icicles. Superb job.

I never knew that dragons could grow fur, but by gosh and by golly, leave it to Nyt to create one that does! This bad boy is just in time for the forecasted cold snap in a few days ;-) He's one gorgeous, thorny nightmare, Nyt!
