Description
Nikon 7900 pocket camera - hand held image.
Here is the second image of this pretty little Dragonfly as promised. I have had numerous species of bugs (including more than a few Dragonflies) on my fingers but I never get over the thrill of contact. It is a very iffy thing just to get a pic of a Dragonfly much less finding one that is so friendly, lol.
Thanks to those who take the time to comment.

Awesome . Very beautiful Dragonfly . Ana
Great shot. And guess what?! I actually had a dragonfly on my hand the other day! I can't believe I actually held him... so cool.
My gosh, it is a tiny one, huh? And the colors where the wings connect are really wonderful. This is a top notch macro shot!
brilliant shot and capture !! WOW WHAT A spectacular fingerfull macro this is VERY impressive lee!!!!! ...AWESOME work with the nikon 7900!!!
great capture...
Fantastic!
What a superb shot!! The detail is amazing. :O)
Me, I would be supprised if one landed on my finger, you, I am not suprised, you seem at have this afinity with all little critters. I believe they sense this and have no fear of you. You look to be a big strapping fellow in your profile but these little things know you are a gentle giant. It doesn't matter how many times I see little things on your fingers, it is still an awesome sight to behold. Fantastic macro, you achieve this with one hand, and get a superb shot. Excellent work. Bravo!!!!!
I am still so surprised how you get these beautiful little creatures to land on you. That amazes me to the depths of my soul. I still think you are an Insect Whisperer. Magnificent capture. Bunny
very awesome experience Lee and a most impressive macro
Nice capture of the "machinery" that makes these guys fly! Every time I look at them closely, I am amazed at how delicately the wings are attached...and how small everything is...yet they are powerful enough to propel them through the air...to hunt....to mate. There is a lot of stuff going on....in such a small package. They are very cool insects.
Awesome shot ! Beautiful capture!!! ROBY ;O)
