Description
Hello ALL!
Playing with a jack'o lantern today with animation still experimenting with it -wanting to wish you all a Happy Halloween!!. hmmm why did it come out grainy? Wasn't grainy before it was animated (hmm a big bad witch put a spell on it !! LOL...thats it!! ) Still learning about this animation process!!!... oh well I can live with grain ...
The funny thing about this Jack-o-lantern is that "Jack" drew its face on *( my 4 year old nephew) and that the eye doctor *( my brother in law Eric-a lasic surgeon) carved out its eyes !! hehe....true story ( met my sisters family in Santa Barbara this weekened and we all carved pumpkins and ate samores by the fire ...)
Then I smudged it and overpostworked it to death ( muhaha) hehe....
ok a little pumpkin story here now:
When I was growing up ( and even now ) my Mother had this thing about always finding the best pumpkin stem ...lol now I find myself looking for a long curved and beautiful steams on the pumpkintop!! I cannot bring myself to get one with no stem or ugly stem LOL!!...funny how things are passed on like that !!...
Have a happy and haunting day !!
Thanks for all your time and comments!
Love to you all!!

Great carving job along with fine animation on this pumpkin. A beautiful curving stem, also. I really like the mood atmospheric lighting effects of this whole scene. A safe and sane Halloween to you and yours, Kims!
I love his face. And your pumpkin stories.
Well you sure found the best long stemmed pumpkin lol And your brother-in-law and nephew did a great job :) Cute animation!

A super pumpkin with a very fine stalk. I love the flickering animation, very real looking.

Happy Halloween also for you!!!

very cool animation Kimarie
Happy Halloween Kimmers!!!!!!!!
Beautiful composition and a fun animated Halloween image. Nothing but good flows from this special image. Hugs, Suzanne
A wonderful Gif Kimmers! Delightful face, and a magnificent STEM! ;)
This turned out great. The grain comes from the fact that it is a gif and has reduced colors. They tend to look a little motteled sometimes when there are shades of the same colors running together. You might try less compression on the gif.
Beautiful work. Excellent lighting effect. Awesome.
Happy Halloween! Very nice work!
A wonderful photo & I love the animation you have done to it as well.. :)
It's a fun one! Full of the spirit of Halloween. Sounds like you had fun carving pumpkins and sitting by the fire eating smores...yummmmmmmm. CC
Life's traditions are special..hopefully the next generations will remember the moments..
That stem does add more character and personalty to it. Excellent and Happy Halloween to you too. Aloha
