Description
I met Pete and Tom in Prague, spent time with them there, went to Cesky Krumlov with them and had a wild time and essentially started one of those "fellow traveler" friendships that, thankfully, lasts a lot longer. Sometimes you just meet people and click and that's definitely what happened. When this picture was taken, we were probably having an in-depth conversation about beer, and I remember being entranced by the way the light and shadow contrasted so sharply. We were in U Sudu, one of my two favorite bars in Prague, down in the cavernous cellar
Pete got a tattoo while in Prague...actually he got two, and now that he's back home in England (and I'm overdue for an extended visit there)he's probably gotten another one, or a touchup. At any rate, he's got skin art as something of a record of his travels.
