Description
most of downtown is comprised of the original casinos and a few office buildings.I stay on the far north side just at the edge of where the houses stop at the top of the picture when in Vegas.now within walking distance there is a new casino slated to open the end of 2008
I went to the Mount Charleston and the temperature was 27 F and there is a huge forest up there.the only snow was on the very top of the peak
thanks for viewing and any comments. you know after a vacation it takes a while to adjust home life and I am trying to catch up on the galleries

Great shot, when we go we usually go at night and it's always a trill to come into the vaelley and see all the lights and it still takes 30 more mintes to get ther...lol. Last year we made the mistake of going on the strip and it was horrible, you can't drive and can hardly walk on the side walk there are so many people.

Excellent aerial view. I am happy to see it, although I would have preferred that you kept the horizon line really horizontal. It is simple to achieve this with a Guide in Photoshop. But you have to add some sky with the Clone Stamp Tool, otherwise on the left of your photo the sky will not be sufficiently high.
