Description


Another part of old Jerusalem, where at least three faiths made their home. Monks have to eat too..this one returning from the nearby market. The streets here are lined with shops selling all sorts of Christian souveniers, from the ridiculous to the sublime. Below, the entrance area of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. There is some object in that trough that caused a huge stir among the faithful. Two more images tomorrow...

A couple of really good shots. I especially like the top one. It had wonderful emotion attached to it. I will look for the continuing saga on the "mystery of the trough" :-)
