Description

This is the path to "Peoples Prairie" or what we call the Upper or High Prairie because of the climb it takes to get there. On this hike (Wed. 10-24-07) we saw several deer but the view was through underbrush where no photo could be taken that would show anything but thicket. However, we did get many nice shots and it was hard to choose which to post. So maybe I'll put some of the others up here in days to come. Now it's back to the books for me. Hope everyone's Fall is as pretty as it is here. Btw, our prayers go out to those dealing with the fires out West. Please take care of yourselves. Thanks for Looking! Ken

So many breath taking moments on our walk yesterday. The colors are really beginning to pop. Wonderful shot bunny.

I look at this and imagine walking down this path, a slight stirring of the air around me bringing the scent of composting soil beneath the blanket of leafs; listening to the crunch and rustle of those leaves and hearing the peaceful silence that cradles your mind. Beautiful, Kenny.
