Description
On the distant planet of Ardentia women rule.
This is Thuvia, one of the Queen's bodyguards. Skilled in the trident she is one of the world's most formidable warriors.
This figure turned out way better than I had expected.
I've never done a black character before, so I thought I would use a 4Winds texture map on Vickie 3. The head is a Lt. Uhura morph.
Hat and sandals are R'osity freebies while the armour and trident come from RDNA's site.
Buildings are from an Imagine FX disc and the planet is a NASA map of Venus (appropriate?)

I hope you like her.

Great fantasy work!! Like the colors of her outfit!!
Awesome work!
Beautiful render.
GORGEOUS SCENE & ARTWORK !!!!!!!!!
Very kool and pretty texture on the armor ^^
Ah, you got me. I thought by your title this would be about Thuvia, Maid of Mars by Edgar Rice Burroughs. Close by any standard. Very nice character render, wild shoes!! Two small crits; you went too lores on your texture for the bas relief as everything else is in such excellent hires. And then, your moon is coming off more as a large ball hanging just behind the temple. This is happening because you have atmosphere details that are giving visual clues to the depth of the architecture. With that amount of haze in place it tells the human eye that the planet is not far away but very close. Just ghost it back a little. cheers
Thanks deci6el... points duly noted. (bas relief isn't something I could do anything about, though... the model's texture map was lo res)
97% perfect. But those shoes are really very very silly.
This is a very strong image
