If I found something like this I would have to get my golf club and see how far I could send it... and THEN I'd say, "oh gosh, I should have taken a photo first!" LOL I mowed down the last mushrooms I found in my yard and as I put the mower away it hit me I should have taken a few photos first. I suppose fungus and insects are not my favorite subjects for a photo shoot. :-) You, however, have done a marvelous job here. Great pov!
Well, being somewhat cautious about wild mushrooms, I would have removed it, (in gloves) but I would never hit it with my non-existant golf club, which might spread the spores all over hell's 1/2 acre! Back to your picture! The full sized view is so great........every detail.
most of the time things with such beautiful colors will hurt you... and this has beautiful colors... wonderful capture...
Oh yes, this mushroom is so beautiful ! You know the point together with the animal world ? More beautiful is and more crual can be too... But we have the chance, the mushroom don't attack LOLLLLL or if you want to eat this, I don't want to know the bad effect after hahahaha ..... Excellent !!! Good day :)
Very cool shot... never seen one like this, love the fuzzy details.
A beautiful shroom and also poisonous - Fly Agaric .
Excellent great textures.
Excellent shot!
What a great find. Nice one!
A wonderful shot Alan, from what Onslow/Richard has said I am so glad you did not handle this shroom. It is no said that the brighter the colour the more dangerous the insect or fungi. Have a wonderful eventime. Diane.
Amazing subject, very nice capture!
great capture...
I never seen one in person, but obviously very beautiful and an excellent capture
Wonderful picture... the colors are beautiful... ... and the exemplary work. Like me a lot! My congratulations Roby
i`ve never seen mushrooms like this before alan ,where exactly was it in this country ? mick
Very interesting mushroom. Wonderful capture.
Just to answer mick. It was taken over moorland near Todmorden West Yorkshire UK. Most Fungi that I have seen are not the bright coloured verieties, so thought it unusual.
I've never seen one with the colors like this! Great find and wonderful capture! :^)
Very well done. 5+.

Great photo, I think this is the same type as I posted today.

Beautiful and dangerous! Excellent shot!
Somebody already mentioned , Yes is Fly Agaric - Amanita Muscaria , Active constituent Muscarine , Not highly poisonous but still not wise to eat :D Nice pic of it in early stage!
