Description
Nikon 7900 image.
A year and a day ago, I posted an image of a pink Katydid. It was one of several I had seen then. I had never seen one before that day.
Now I am posting an image of a blue one. I have never even heard of one of those before, lol. I have no idea as to why they display such colors but they are certainly noticeable.
Thanks to those who take the time to comment.

Stunning detail and clarity!! Lets us all see what we would otherwise miss. :O)
Hi Lee! Another great bug shot ... I've always thought these guys' backsides were so weird looking. I took a few shots at one of these a few weeks ago and didn't notice it at the time but when I saw it on my screen I thought huh? WTH!? lol Thought maybe he was attracted to me or something LOL I'd better shutup ..... Nice photo here Lee... love it :)
Another stunning macro Lee, this is fasinating as well as being fantastic, I had neither seen nor even heard about Katydids until I came on Renderosity. What a sheltered life I led. Great clarity and detail and the colour is unbelievable. I wonder if it is some sort of mating display? Outstanding, photography at it's best. Bravo!!!!!
PERFECT PICTURE !!!!!!!!!!
