Description
I thought this rock formation was unusual and interesting. I have no idea what that mushroom looking thing on the left is used for. And with all the earthquakes in Japan, I wonder how long will these rock formation last. I hope forever. Aloha and thank you for viewing

OMG!!! What a beautiful rock formation. Can I use it for one of my backgrounds?! I love it. 5+++++
you´re right, this is a very unusual formation! looks great!
great shot and great detail! I love rock formations when they look like this. makes you wonder how did it happen and how long ago. living in arizona you can find a lot of rock formations. or giant boulders. that look like if you even breath on them they will fall off the cliff but they never do. great job I love your shots :-)
Cool rock formations. I'd guess they'll be around for a while since they've lasted this long, but guess you never know.
Great shot! I love the shapes, and the color of the water draws my eye like a magnet. Beautiful image!
Great Shot !!!!!!!!!!!!
I used to worry about the Natural Bridge in Utah when I was growing up. My dad showed me a picture of it and said one day I could go and see it for myself. He explained how it was made by rushing water a very long time ago when the area it was in was a huge lake, and how it was now found in a desert. I worried that by the time I was old enough to visit, it would be gone... how silly. It took millions of years to form and it will take millions to disappear. This formation will probably be there for about the same amount of time. It may not have that balanced rock up there and it may be under water but it will be there for a very long time. Good shot - I love inspecting the rocks.
So very cool rocks, and a very lovely photo.
I love this kind of shots. I will have to ask my husband if he knows what that thing is. Beautiful capture. Aloha
Beautiful rock formation and shot Errol. I too wonder who placed the little mushroom form on the left. I hope they last forever too. They have stood the battering of the waves, so we hope and hope. Aloha. Diane.
