love the humour in this one - who is actually on a (distant) leash? :-)

So many thoughts come to mind. First, that there are places where one can let a dog off leash to run and explore. Second, that she seems very engrossed in a cell phone conversation and so missing out on the beauty around her. And of course my mind then takes over and wonders, did her dog manage to get off the leash, and she's looking it for it now, calling home to see if the dog has found it's way there? LOL .. of course you didn't stop to ask .. but you did mention there was a dog .. so my mind is just making up stories to amuse me!

ah, she lost her child, huh? LOL I used to have a harness and leash for my son when he was little. He was always slipping away into the mass of people when we went shopping so I got this harness and leash for kids contraption to keep him safe and within view. This shot just reminded me of those days. A peaceful (proves that leash isn't for a boisterous kid or she'd be a little less relaxed)b/w shot.

Well, the girl was so preoccupied with chatting on her mobile that did not notice that her dog had just sneaked away to quite a remote place to play with other dogs, its friends. It's a wonderful place within a five minute walk away from my home, the campus of the local university where dogs from different sections of the city are brought for walk or practice, such as agility.

Very nice work.

Wonderful pose. The dangling leash only enphasizes the introverted nature of the moment.

I think I would call this "Disconnect". How often we observe people disconnected from everything and everyone around them as they leash themselves to their cell phones. Interesting that the dog one would expect at the end of the leash is evidently running free. :-))) Hugs, Suzanne
Liam.
Very nice. I agree about the sense of disconnection.
